In the first place, HD107S-2020-RGB is an embedded control type LED light source integrating a control circuit and light-emitting circuit. It contains a signal decoding module, data buffer, a built-in constant current circuit, and RC oscillator; CMOS, low voltage, low power consumption; 256 level grayscale PWM adjustment and 32 brightness adjustment; use the double output, Data, and synchronization of the CLK signal, connected in series each wafer output action synchronization.

HD107s is a digital control LED light source which integrates the control circuit and RGB LED chip in one package, and it provides the best full-color lighting performance for RGB digital dimming control.
Firstly, It featured a two-wire SPI interface instead of the proprietary one-wire protocol like WS2812, and many micro-controllers can drive it with their hardware SPI functions easily.
Secondly, HD107s has a bigger improvement to the digital RGB LED of APA102 and APA107, which support 256 (8bits) grade color depth in R/G/B.
Thirdly, It can operate at a clock frequency of over 30MHz thus allowing a super-fast data transmission rate.
